The Hungarian Vizsla Club is the oldest organisation in the UK dedicated to the Vizsla, having been established in 1968.

Our membership currently stands at over 622.

As anyone who has a vizsla as part of the household will know, the vizsla is an extraordinary representative of the canine world. He/She has much to teach us, not least about the versatility of the breed.
Beauty and Brains combined, your vizsla can be shown at Crufts, work on the local shoot, be the world's best rough shooting dog on fur or feather, work with birds of prey, do flyball, obedience, agility, heel to music and still be the best bed warmer or comforter of hurt feelings you could ever wish for.......

Our formal 'mission statement' can be read under the section 'About the HVC'.

If you have children and are considering whether or not to get a dog, before you do, please make sure your children have won their ‘Safe and Sound’ certificate from the Kennel Club.  Please click here to take  the fun test and get your certificate.
