Until last Season (2021) there were only ever three Field Trial Champions in the whole history of the Breed. They were as shown at the foot of the page.
But in November 2021 Shirley Mattravers made it 4 with her Homebred Bitch Hunterstone Rhea, by winning her second First Place at the H.V.C’s own Open Trial at Addingham Moor.
This was followed up with Thomas Mattravers making Rhea’s Dam, Hunterstone Uno, up to a Field Trial Champion at H.V.S’ Open Trial in January 2022.
Two further Field Trial Champions in the Breed, but both Homebred and Owner handled.
